#4 Sign up for job alerts: StyleCareers, LinkedIn and Indeed all have great job alert features.

#5 Manage your contacts: Many jobs are never posted online and calling on your network could help you land a job that was never made public.

#6 Keep track of your progress: It is easy to feel like you are not making progress. By keeping notes on all of your job applications you can keep organized and feel accomplished.

BONUS: Don’t give up! Make sure you are carving out time where you can focus on your search. Even if you have been applying for a while, make sure you are reading up on tips to help improve your chances of landing the interview and the job.
